Auto Trader drives brand awareness with #AutoTraderGoals

Kicking off a summer of football with its biggest brand promotion to date – giving away a brand-new car every time England scores a goal in Russia.

  • #AutoTraderGoals campaign celebrates that ‘new car feeling’ during summer of football
  • Biggest brand promotion to date set to drive even more consumers to Auto Trader’s marketplace

The campaign, which is open to both consumers and retailers, is set to reach circa 36 million people, driving even greater awareness of the Auto Trader brand amongst the nation’s football fans.

Social media users will be encouraged to share posts with #AutoTraderGoals on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram after every England goal scored during the first 90 minutes of the game, for a chance to win. Alternatively, entrants can register their email address on www.autotrader.co.uk/goals following an England goal. Auto Trader will give away one car for every goal regardless of how many times England find the net during the tournament.

The brand-new car models on offer include the Jeep Renegade, Abarth 595, Fiat 500X and an Alpha Mito.

The cross-channel campaign kicked off this week, with most above the line activity set to start on the 17th and 18th June 2018, including digital out of home (DOOH), print, radio, online, paid social, branded content, and a partnership with UNILAD. The Official spokesperson for the campaign is England World Cup star John Barnes.
